Mohair Bliss is a luxurious, fine resistant mohair & silk blend yarn that knits up beautifully in single or multi-thread to create sensual and airy projects. The yarn is produced in South Africa by an internationally recognized manufacturer. The Angora goats are carefully combed, the fibers then washed and subsequently carded into fiber strands and spun into yarn.
Mohair refers to the curly, silky fleece of the Angora goat. The fineness of mohair is the determining factor for quality and is measured in micorn. Pascuali uses a rare mohair fiber: superkid mohair, which is between 24 and 26 microns thick or fine. These fibers are the softest, finest and most luxurious fibers and come from very young Angora goats.
It is therefore hardly surprising that mohair is also often referred to as "diamond fiber".
