Como Grande Bouclé is a remarkably light bouclé yarn in bulky weight, crafted from 100% superfine merino wool (18.5 microns). Despite its generous volume, the yarn feels airy and soft, creating knitted pieces with a plush yet elegant appearance.

The carded construction gives the yarn its characteristic bouclé texture and a gentle halo, resulting in a refined matte finish. Merino wool naturally regulates temperature and ensures excellent breathability – qualities that are beautifully enhanced in this lightweight structure.

The merino wool used for Como Grande Bouclé comes from mulesing‑free, certified farms in Australia and meets high standards of animal welfare and sustainability. Production takes place in Italy at a family‑run mill, and the yarn is certified according to OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100, product class I, making it suitable for baby and toddler knits.

With its generous yarn thickness, projects grow quickly and develop a soft, full stitch definition. Como Grande Bouclé can be knitted on its own or combined with other Lamana yarns – for example with kid mohair – to add even more softness and texture.
