Amano Ayni made of pure natural fibers with 80% alpaca and 20% silk. High quality baby alpaca from Peru and mulberry silk give the yarn a very soft feel and fine shine. Ayni is a term from the original language of the Incas Quechua and means "barter" according to an ancient system in the Andean region. Amano thus interprets the unique blend of baby alpaca and mulberry silk in this yarn. Also the colors of Ayni are inspired by typical exchange objects of past times such as saffron, salt or jade.
